The Philadelphia Financial Literacy Academy is a student-run non-profit organization dedicated to serving under-resourced teens the financial literacy they deserve

The Philadelphia Financial Literacy Academy (PFLA) was established in 2024 by Ian Korotkin, a student from Council Rock High School South. At PFLA, we ensure our student’s ability to succeed in the adult world by providing an extensive education on financial literacy. Our meetings are carefully designed to give smart, useful, and most importantly safe advice to under-resourced teens, making sure they’ve got the best shot at a financially independent future. Additionally, we support our student’s by providing seminars focused on leadership and effective communication, allowing them to thrive in an ever-changing world. At PFLA, we try our hardest to give each and every teen the resources they need to succeed, and a chance to make a brighter future for themselves, and everybody around them.
